Faulhaber continues its path of international growth by strengthening its market presence in Asia with a new sales office in India. On August 8, 2025, the office in Pune officially opened its doors. The site will be managed by Regional Sales Manager Sachin Kurlekar, who will oversee the Indian market together with a local team. Strategically, the location is integrated into the Asia-Pacific sales region under the leadership of Managing Director Vester Tan.

With this new office, FAULHABER establishes a local presence to directly address the growing significance of the Indian high-tech market and to further develop customer relationships. “India is considered a dynamic market due to its rapidly growing economy and increasing technological development. This makes the country a promising destination for both national and international business. The new location enables us to be even closer to our customers in India – both geographically and technologically,” emphasizes Sachin Kurlekar. The team, consisting of sales engineers and motion control experts, will provide technical consulting and local support directly on site. Through close cooperation with both existing and new customers, FAULHABER will further strengthen its position – especially in the medical technology, robotics, and aerospace sectors, all of which rely heavily on high-precision miniature drive systems.

Focus on System Business and Partnerships

The system business is becoming increasingly important. With customized, turnkey drive solutions, FAULHABER offers tailored technology for complex applications. “Our goal is to build long-term partnerships with local players and to address the specific needs of the Indian market with customized solutions,” explains site manager Sachin Kurlekar.

All products are supplied from the company’s European production facilities. Customers in India will have full access to the entire FAULHABER portfolio – with the same high level of quality, reliability, and technical excellence they have come to expect.
