Jürgen Woll, Vice President Automation and Manuel Steger, Head of Digitalization & Software at Dieffenbacher, accepted the award for the excellent AI development (AI = artificial intelligence) named Evoris from Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister for Economy, Labor, and Tourism. The special thing about this AI development is that it uses AI-supported apps to process thousands of signals that converge in Evoris, as Dieffenbacher explains. Anomalies in the production process are then reported to the operator, or live, such as what the quality of a produced wood composite plate will look like, as it continues. With this, users can detect production deviations early and make production more efficient - a decisive advantage that also increases sustainability.
