SHINING 3D announces the launch of EinScan Medixa, an all-in-one, wireless 3D scanner designed specifically for orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) applications. By integrating precision scanning, onboard processing, and seamless data export, EinScan Medixa streamlines O&P workflows, making them faster, cleaner, and more efficient.

Traditional O&P methods, such as plaster casting, tape measurements, and manual modeling, are time-consuming, messy, and often uncomfortable for patients. EinScan Medixa introduces a fully digital, contact-free workflow that reduces case time from 5 hours to just 1 hour while improving accuracy and patient experience. Its movement compensation technology ensures reliable, precise data capture even with slight patient movements, making it ideal for sensitive applications such as infant cranial helmets or torso scanning.
