Deburr-Free Drilling Without a Drill Cap

The component on the right and the cut-open version for examination on the left. The complete bore and the two cut-open bores on the left and right (in the left component) are clearly visible. The bore diameter is 5 mm, the inner diameter of the main bore at this point is 14 mm. The hole exit on the inside of the workpiece shown in the close-up (Fig. 3) was produced after approximately 4,000 drillings with the ExBurrDrill. There is no visible burr.
