Four countries, nine cities, nine events: Ansys partner Cadfem is organizing a new conference series in 2025 to share news from the world of virtual simulation across borders and exchange ideas throughout Europe.

With the new conference series, Cadfem aims to offer engineers and specialists in the field of simulation and digital engineering the latest expert knowledge, best practice examples and networking opportunities at various locations throughout the year.

The events each deal with different topics from the everyday life of engineers and from all areas of physics, such as structural mechanics, fluid and thermal management, electromagnetic simulation, scripting and automation as well as artificial intelligence (AI). Social and industrial policy issues are also discussed, such as digital transformation and its impact on the jobs of the future.

A head start through simulation

Also on the agenda: sustainability in product development and reducing the CO2 footprint, strengthening competitiveness in Europe and innovation leadership through simulation and digital engineering. Each event offers one day of keynote speeches, specialist presentations, trade exhibitions and the opportunity for dialog. Participation is free of charge.

Engineering is a team task

The Cadfem Conference originated in Germany. As the company grew internationally, further specialist conferences were added in individual countries, and now the event series is united under one umbrella brand. "The Cadfem Conference has been the benchmark event for simulation and digital engineering in Europe for 40 years," says Josef Overberg, member of the Cadfem Management Board.

In a networked world, however, digital engineering is also becoming an international team task, which is why there are now several events at Cadfem's locations and national branches.
