Melsoft Vixio is based on artificial intelligence (AI) and, according to Mitsubishi Electric Germany, is designed for precise quality control. It is characterized by its ease of use combined with advanced technology. This comes just in time, as today's manufacturing landscape demands precision and efficiency to be harmonized. In the context of visual inspection, inspectors can quickly reach their limits. This is exactly where the Melsoft Vixio software leverages improvement. It analyzes production images in real time and identifies potential defects with high accuracy. The software thus helps companies optimize their quality assurance and use resources more efficiently. The optimization process takes place in three steps, according to Mitsubishi Electric. First, the system is trained during a learning phase with sample images to establish quality standards. In the next step, algorithms analyze current product images and compare them with the training data. Finally, in the third step, each product is classified based on defined criteria. Only defect-free items are ultimately approved for further processing.

An integrated feedback function ensures continuous result monitoring. Component defects can thus be quickly identified and corrected through targeted model adjustments.
